philadelphia college of pharmacy at usciences is pleased to present this continuing pharmacy education program, developed to keep pharmacists up to date on pharmacy practice.

celebrate with fellow alumni.
commencement
at our annual commencement ceremony in may, academic degrees are awarded to usciences graduates.
conferment
drot, dpt, mspas, and pharmd students participate in the ceremony as they earn a bachelor's degree before continuing toward a professional degree.
delaware valley science fairs
university of the sciences sponsors this annual event by providing scholarships to first, second, and third place finishers at the 11th grade level and an in-kind donation. the university also annually hosts a winners breakfast. dvsf features independent research in 15 scientific categories by students in grades 6-12 who have completed science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (stem) research projects and have advanced after competing in their local fairs.
delivering medication therapy management services certificate program
certificate training program to prepare pharmacists to improve medication use through the delivery of medication therapy management services in a variety of practice settings.

annual event for high school guidance counselors and faculty to learn more about usciences programs of study.
family fall fest
this annual event brings the campus to life with students and their families, alumni and friends, and faculty and staff, for a festive and activity-packed day.
founders’ day
founders' day at usciences recalls the university's establishment on feb. 23, 1821. the university confers an honorary degree to an individual and awards of merit to a member of the faculty, student body and staff.
graduate student orientation
held before every fall and spring semester. graduate students are required to join us for the upcoming orientation to be held (unless enrolled in online programs)
healthy lifestyles social media business competition
sponsored by the pharmaceutical and healthcare business program, a scholarship competition open to all sophomore, junior and senior high school students.

the bernard j. malis memorial lectureship in humanities
an endowed lecture series in honor of bernard malis, who graduated from pcps in 1944 with a bs in pharmacy and in 1947 with an ms in pharmacy, that sheds light on the intersection of the humanities and the sciences.
misher festival of fine arts and humanities
celebrating former university president allen misher’s vision of an undergraduate education that embraces history, music, and literature alongside biology, chemistry, and more.
mlk day of service
honoring the life and legacy of dr. martin luther king, jr., the university community is encouraged to unite for a day of service dedicated to bettering the community, empowers individuals, and bridges barriers.

patricia leahy memorial lecture
coordinated by usciences’ department of physical therapy this program, offering continuing education credit, includes a lecture, dinner, and discussion. all proceeds benefit the patricia leahy scholarship.
pharmacy-based immunization delivery training
an innovative and interactive training program that teaches pharmacists the skills necessary to become a primary source for vaccine information and administration. the program teaches the basics of immunology and focuses on practice implementation and legal/regulatory issues.
philadelphia grain malt symposium
an opportunity to collaborate, network, educate, and strengthen the local grain and malt supply chain. the symposium is open to all farmers, brewers, distillers, bakers, restaurateurs, and consumers who are interested in learning more or making connections in the local supply chain.
philadelphia science festival
the university is a proud sponsor of the philadelphia science festival, an innovative, nine-day celebration in april of each year that explores the many ways that science and technology touch our everyday lives
